The author is a friend. He came to our book club and gave us a little background on his writing regimen. He told us that everyone has a story to tell. (But maybe we shouldn't ask non-family members to read it.) A member of the book club had just been to ID. She drove to Parker and took pictures to show us, making the events of the book more real. Wanders all over the place, too much backfill, choppy dialog, lacks continuity, no real plot, characters are cardboard and not very likable
