I got to this book from the book "Those Angry Days" and it filled in a lot of blanks about who he was. Its not a scintillating read but it certainly stimulates you to want to know more. Lord Lothian had an incredible impact on the period 1939 to Dec 1940 as ambassador to the United States. One of those people that without him you wonder what might have happened in the alternative.
