Stacey Kennedy has another hit with Whispers of Evil, book two in Stacey’s extremely hot paranormal romance series. This is a fast romance that will have you hanging on to find out how Griffin is going to get Nayeli to give him her heart, bare and exposed (loved that at the end.). You’ll find adventure, action, hot sex, and one scene with voyeurism (that happened in the ceremony) and another scene with spanking. I look forward to reading more in this series in the future. Note there is a punishm ...more

In this second installment in the Watchers series, we see Nayeli and Griffin as soul mates. In this series the warriors (fallen angels) need their soul mates to help them fight the forces of darkness. It's got a cool concept where each woman has a unique "gift" but their gifts all work together. In the first book, the heroine saw the ghosts of the recently killed, and had a short amount of time where she could ask them questions about their killer. The bad guys in this series are demons

Griffin is envious of his brother bound by friendship Knox with his watcher Paxtyn, who is a riot by the way, he sees how much happiness she had brought him and he wants one for himself, his chosen one, but it isn’t so easy, he must rescue her from a mental hospital. I really like in this how the men are all submissive to their women, it’s a nice change. This moment between Paxtyn and Knox when rescuing Nayeli made me laugh and it was only just the start of the read;

You’ll need to forgive the lateness in writing this review. For some reason, whenever I read something powerful, something that moves me deeply and significantly, something that draws every emotion I know and hold out of me, it takes a little time to recover. When I read a book, I want a connection and I definitely want to feel something. Most times I get what I’m hoping for but there are those reads that deliver MUCH, MUCH more as it seems they rock me to my very foundation. WHISPERS OF EVIL, h ...more
My thoughts:
Wow! I was excited to read these two books because I had already read A Warrior's Witch by Stacey Kennedy and completely fell in love with her characters and her writing style, and I was once again totally impressed!
In this series she has created phenomenal characters and has given them a fantastic, well developed plot with a fresh twist on the demon hunter. Her female characters are strong, powerful, funny, passionate, driven to make the world a safer place, sexy, compassionate, and

What can I say, when reading a Stacey Kennedy book you will always find it, hot, full of action, sex scenes that make your toes curl, mystery and love! She has a way of bringing out so many emotions in each book I have read. This book has all these qualities but that is just the Stacey way.

I loved every single minute of it. While the first book we had Pax a feisty little thing, this book we get Nayeli who is soft and little broken. She has lived her whole life in a mental hospital thinking she w

Romancing the Dark Side Review:

Whispers of Evil will steal your breath away with its gut wrenching danger and heart stopping romance!

Book 2 of the The Watchers begins with Griffin, one of the Seekers on a mission to rescue his Seeker, Nayeli from the mental institution she has been in nearly all her life. Unaware that the voices she hears are her gift, she's been raised to believe she's mentally unstable by those around her, including her parents who abandoned her when she was just a child. In

This series should be called the Takers, because it takes your breathe away, takes your temperature to new heights, takes your heart and turns it to mush, and takes your reality and makes it fade away, as the world of the Watchers and their Seekers consumes you until your whole world is theirs right up until you read the words "The End." After that you will be in for a few very nice (and racy) dreams :-) In one word: Sensational! If you are a lover of PNR and UF,

Whispers of Evil by Stacey Kennedy is the second book in the Watchers series and continues shortly after the first one, A Deadly Whisper, ends. It features Nayeli and Griffin. Nayeli is a wonderful and complex character. She has been institutionalized since she was a little girl. She has lived a life filled with nightmares and no hope so when she is rescue by Griffin and brought to the otherworld she is willing to do whatever it takes to keep from going back to the institution, including taking ...more
