After living on the streets of New York City for over a decade, Logan Ellis admits her perceptions might be a little skewed. But twisted or not, there’s a satisfying irony in watching a well dressed vampire stand in the middle of a ghetto alley, windblown trash scraping small circles near his feet. What she finds even more intriguing, is waiting for him to decide whether o ...more

Let’s build up images for our characters, shall we?

Logan – lol I can’t help but think of Chuck Norris when I say this name…

I admit Logan isn’t your typical heroine. How often do you find a drug addict homeless person who, surprisingly, has a very good oral hygiene and who steals bags from old women for a living? Even though she seemed promising, everything went to hell after 50 pages or so. Logan is the most hateful annoying bitch on the planet! I simply hated her and didn’t believe the crap of

If you're a paranormal or urban fantasy fan, you need to drop what you're doing and arrange to get your hands on this book NOW. "Eternal Seduction" by Jennifer Turner is one of the best paranormal/urban fantasy romance/close to erotica books I've read...ever. Not sure if it's the gritty reality, the flawed yet redeemable main characters, the compelling secondary cast, the dark humor, or the fascinating complexity, but this story sucked me right into the author's world and I'm still a little bit ...more

This book is a 5 star book until the last 30 or so pages. The author did an incredible job of introducing the readers to all the characters in the book and setting up the storyline.

That is part of the problem! She only introduces the reader and sets up the storyline and we are then almost to the end of the book. In the last 30 or so pages, Ms. Turner quickly tries to resolve all the issues and conclude the story (in a kind of disappointing way).

So, why the 4 stars? I loved the book and found mys
I love it when I find a book that has all my favorite elements, but stands out from the rest!

Logan Ellis is a homeless, heroine addict who, over the past several weeks, keeps running into vampires. She manages to "live and let live" until one night ...

She meets Kerestyan Nelek, Lord of New York Vamps, and he cannot decide what to do with Logan. She's not reacting as he'd expected and, even though he should, he doesn't kill her for her knowledge of vampires' existence.

Totally new take on the vampire romance typical genre. Logan is not the same ole same ole stereotypical heroine and Kerestyan is not the typical vampire hero and the story is fresh and the characters are hilarious! My goodness, Kerestyan's bother Oli is a HOOT! I swear I must have laughed hysterically out loud over 50 times during the course of the book. I was so excited when I found out that the author is planning to write a series in which this is Ms. Turner's debut book. What a great beginnin ...more

When I was asked to review Eternal Seduction the first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful cover. I love the black and white image against the striking red roses and although it’s not necessarily reflective of the story, it is certainly eye catching and beautiful.

I am sorry to say this, but I can't finish this book!

Reasons I don't like it[between us I don't think that I like anything about it]:
-the heroine: she is an idiot, with capital I. And her name reminds me of X-men, Wolverine more exactly. I can't read a book that I keep thinking of a dude when actually it's a chick.
-the plot: uhm... sorry to brake it to you, but there is no plot. Nothing happens. The short description of the book would be: <And that sums up 50% of the book and I'm not kidding!

Love Love Love this one!
I could not put this book down. It was gripping from beginning to end. There is nothing conventional nor predictable about this book. I loved all the characters in this one equally. They all bring something intense, intriguing, hilarious, or just flat out sexy no matter how brief their presence.

There is one character I really want to know more about though.. Drake.. I plan on getting the second in this series soon. Hopefully it will continue to get better and better.

I completely devoured this book. Loved it from the first page to the very last. Logan is such an inspiration, how she went through such a shitty life and still had a sense of humour and whit about her. She's everything a female heroine should be. I loved how even though she was faced with first of all the Lord of New York, but didn't really care and gave him all the snark she could. Then she's faced with his 'Father' and the possibility that she could be facing death, she just didn't care and ga ...more

According to my Kindle I only made it 55% of the way through this book. While I thought the blurb had promise, I quickly found that the story was as flat as the heroine's chest. And ass, apparently. As we learn... in great detail.

This is one of those books that tries to make a genre stew, clumsily incorporating every possible particle and cliche that it could, and grinding it up into a pasty representation of PNR, which it then crams down our throat in a constant repeating loop of cutesy barfin
"testosterone driven penile fever"

This book was fantastic. The author took everything I've come to expect form the typical PNR read and flipped it inside out and upside down. We all know the "typical" drill. Girl spies sexy, brooding, mystery man and heart goes pitter patter. Said mystery man can't risk the fragile human and fights how he's drawn to her but must protect her at all cost while waxing poetic in her ear while doing a poor job keeping the stuborn human at arms length. Sound familiar?

God where do I start? Every vampire in this book so far and the main protagonist has black hair and all the vampires are so ridiculously old! K, as that stupid bitch that made the steaks called him is like 10,000 years old and his his blood brother Vouclade is 20,000 years old and yes that his fucking name! All the names are retarted. Usually when you get a free book on Kindle, you really are getting what you pay for. But sometimes you read one that surprises you. This is one of those books. Don't let the title throw you off of what kind of book this is. It's not your normal PR. This is really about the heroine first and the romance second. What I liked about it most, is she didn't whine about anything! There is nothing worse than a heroine who is supposed to be a strong and smart woman who complains about everything. She is ...more

Oh, this is soooo going into my favorites! LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! I cant wait to read the 2nd and however many Jennifer decides to put out.

I laughed through the entire book, Odin is by far my favorite and just can't sit still until his book comes out. Sad moments, some OMG WTF moments, I cant count how many times I was caught off-guard and the end had me grinning like the romance loving, goof-ball that I am. If you haven't read, you MUST.

This book wasted no time getting right to the point! It had that feel of NYC in it and was everything I expected it to be. I am originally from NYC and after reading this book I missed NY a lot. I loved everything including the characters and the world the author created! This book has drama, betrayal, romance, love, humor and action! A good read!!

Loved it. This book was such a surprise. I didn't realize it would be so funny.Every time Odin and Logan were on the same page together I knew I would be laughing and highlighting all their banter. Personally i loved how the vampires were portrayed in this book. I found it be be fresh and new . I look forward to more from this author.

“You, alone, chose and accepted responsibility for your path, and that is why you will leave this chamber on your own two feet.”

This quote, spoken by the 'evil' dude in this book summarizes what I enjoyed about this book. However, it was actually a disappointment for a variety of other reasons; some being the pace, language and lack of action.

So let's meet our characters.

Recommends it for: Fans of Dark PNR with flawed characters.
Original, Unique, and Awesome!
If you are a fan of fangy romance, have an appreciation for thorough and layered world building and mythos creation, and have a special place in your heart for flawed/damaged characters, stop reading this review and start buying Eternal Seduction, because this one has it all. This book not only hit all my happy spots as a reader, it stroked them and made them wriggle with pleasure!

I loved it. I loved Logan, the heroine-addicted street waif with a jaded view of life

I loved it

Originally I'd heard of Eternal Seduction a while ago now but my want to read this was never too far from the front of my mind. So when I finally got a chance to read it there was no second guessing, only immediate action. Reading, reading and more reading. It was a shame my bodies requirements to live had to interrupt. I loved almost everything about this novel. Be it the atypical characters living in a familiar setting of a vampire-filled New York or the wisecracks regularly filling
Loved this book, it was fabulous! A new take on vampire history, along with the "others". Did I ever think I'd fall for a heroine that starts out as a homeless heroin user, not in a million years! But this book was soooo good!

I was ready for a "hero falls first and fast" book and this filled the bill, but on top of that the heroine was so funny and as tough as they come. The hero was hot, he can walk me through a tough time any day! The side characters and "world" were very well developed.

Little Butterfly
It was a good read, i liked it, but not more than that.
It is not another stereotype vampire story but approaches from a different angle which I liked a lot and found refreshing. Unfortunately, the middle part was rather dull and lacked tension between the MC's.
I liked Logan who is a anti-heroine. I'm drawn to the unusual flawed characters, so that was something I really enjoyed. There were very good side characters I might enjoy in the sequels like Drake, Raze and Odin. They were tough and funny

I had read an excerpt of this book a couple of years ago and it seemed like it would be a great read. Not so much. I think some reviewers like that Logan is an anti-heroine. You want an anti-heroine read Stacia Kane's Downside Ghosts series. Logan gets off drugs in a couple of days thanks to her vamp friends and she never exhibits any of the negative traits a long term drug user would have, she's not gritty. That she doesn't fall into the heroes arms is a nice turn, but she's not as feral or dam ...more
Eternal Seduction isn't your run of the mill vampire love story. In previous vampire series, the heroine (the woman the vampire falls in love with) always has a special trait that makes her bound to an vampire. Logan's special trait is that she doesn't give a damn and is all about self, which makes her the perfect candidate to become enfolded into the vampiric world. I enjoyed reading this book because it strayed from many of the typical plot lines that other paranormal romance/urban fantasy boo ...more

Not bad.. I did feel some of the underlying plot was forced, though. I wish more of the story had focused on Kerestyan and Logan and less on the vampire politics. The two plot lines did not mesh well.

Logan Ellis is the protagonist of this original and innovating book about vampire romance. It would be an understatement to say that Logan isn’t like your typical heroine, which makes her all the more interesting. She’s a passive character, traumatized up to the point that she just lets things pass her by unnoticed, even when topics as alarming as her own possible death are referred to. She genuinely doesn’t care, not about herself – her survival skills are greatly lacking, to say the least – he ...more

I don't think any other author has surprised me so much with a heroine, as Jennifer Turner did with Logan in Eternal Seduction. In the first moments of the book you see her living on the streets, mugging a lady for money, she's dirty, she eats from the trash and buys heroine to feed her addiction. I was blown away and wondered how the heck this woman was going to drive the book as its heroine.

But i was further surprised when Logan became a heroine i loved reading about. She progresse

Eternal Seduction by Jennifer Turner is the first book in her A Darkness Within series. I found this book’s take on vampires and paranormals to be very interesting. It’s difficult to be original in a genre that is so saturated with vamps, but Jennifer managed to keep it new. I must say though that there are a few things in this book that had me go O-o. Let’s get those out of the way then I’ll go on about the details I really enjoyed.

First, I unfortunately didn’t truly feel the connection between
