A perfect coffee table book, even if it is 20 years old. Published by the Nature Conservancy of Hawaii, the large format volume, after various introductions, is divided into chapters on six environments/ecosystems, from lava flow to rainforest to coast, from wetlands to drylands and back again to lava (solidified as summits).
