Wicked to Love is book 5.5 in the Wicked Lovers series, and while I was glad to get Brandon Ross’s story, I sure wish it had been longer. To be honest, as I was beginning Wicked to Love I couldn’t quite remember who Brandon was, so in case you’re scratching your head and wondering the same, I’ll fill you in.
We first met Brandon in Wicked Ties. He’s Morgan’s stepbrother and the
Brandon Ross desired his best friend’s wife Kayla for years. The only thing he desired more was serving his community. Once his feelings for Kayla were exposed and his friendship ruined he still couldn’t get Kayla out of his mind. He’s dated but no woman could measure up to the image he held in his mind of the woman he could never have.

In my prior books reviews of erotic novels, I have a real issue with the heroine's normally, which of course leads to the balance the author sets, of course every person has a vision of the characters on the pages we read, and I tend to enjoy heroines that are a little softer, have humor, a kind heart, and while aren't total doormats, are unsure of how to get or grasp the man of their dreams, and making it a reality.

4 Stars. It wasn't very long, I knew that going in, but what there was was intense. The pervert in me just loves the way Shayla Black writes sex scenes in her books/stories. They stories aren't just written around the next sex scene, there is always substance, However, I love me a good bit of lovin', and while there may be some that are as good in delivering both there are none better.

Hahahaha jangan ngarepin adanya plot ya di cerita ini. Remember Brandon? He's Morgan's brother from Wicked ties (book one) di awal cerita dia lagi di tempat tinggal sekretarisnya, Amberlin, karena dia ga terima Emm keluar dari pekerjaannya tiba-tiba. Emm, yang uda jatuh cinta sama Brandon selama tiga tahun tapi ga pernah dianggep Brandon, akhirnya mutusin buat move on setelah ngeliat Brandon kembali sama Kayla, cinta lamanya. Cuma 30 halaman, tapi dari awal ampe akhir sukses bikin kipas-kipas :P
Let's be clear. This mini-novella is not really about plot or character development. Probably 20 of the 30 pages are devoted to naked times, and I must say I don't mind it. It would be nice to have a book dedicated to Brandon, as I've always wondered about his character since Wicked Ties. This is just a quick and dirty romp on the pages. Shayla Black knows how to write scorchingly hot scenes and she does it again here. If you can appreciate it for what it is, you'll enjoy.
For some reason I don't remember who Brandon is or his connection to Jack, even after it was mentioned a couple of times. I think that might be part of why I didn't care for this one all that much. I also had a hard time buying into the couple. I find it odd that it took one woman to push Emmy over the edge to do something about Brandon. This is a short story about Brandon, Morgan's brother. It is one hot, sweet and wicked erotic tale, sweetly romantic, leaving you wishing for a whole lot more! I could have had a whole book about this couple, as Em and Brandon were HOT together, and likeable in their own rights.

Really fast read, super short. I didn't connect with the characters it was just kinda wham bam and i'm in love kind of deal. Not my cup of tea. But maybe I should try the other books in the series before I write this whole this off.
I enjoyed Shayla Black's other books so I tried this one. First off I didn't realize it was a short story. There was no plot not nothing just sex basically. A one night hook up in a short story. Wouldn't recommend paying for this book.
Very short. Not the best but good anyway. If you are a little curious abou Brandon from Wicked Ties, then read it because it is still steamy and well written but there is no real plot or thriller like in the other book of the serie.
Ok after reading book #1 & the synopses of all the other books in the series I decided I wanted to know what happens with Brandon who cares about the order!

I liked this short story. But it was SHORT! At $2.99 for 30 pages, that's 10 cents a page. In hindsight, I would've rather saved that money toward half of a full length book

Wow!!! I didn't put it down until I finished it. Took about an hour. Love these little short stories. Shayla Black doesn't disappoint!!!

The goodreads book description gives more details than the actual story. Too short to have substance.
My only complaint about this book is the length. I would have loved a longer story for these 2.
