This really is a great cookbook! It features about every comfort food you could possible think of on a cold winter morning. Most recipes include a very tempting photograph.
For example,
Bake Mac and Cheese
French onion soup
Chunky Beef Soup
Carrot cake with Cheese frosting
Maple glazed bacon.
I wouldn't say that there are any inventive ideas in the book. Instead, there is comforting table food to warm your soul.
