Three and a half stars to Wintergreen, another of Carina Press’s reissues of Jennifer Greene’s books written as Jeanne Grant. This one, a 1984 novel from the Second Chance at Love imprint, is a quick, satisfying, albeit predictable read. Mishalorna Whitaker, a single mother raising her son Johnny alone, is determined to never ask for help from the family of her former husband since he accused her of adultery, denied her child was his, and divorced her. But not even her pride matters as much as h...more

Needing money for a special school for her son, a widow contacts her late husband's family despite the bad blood between them. She finds her ex-brother-in-law is willing to help her...and more. Good.
I love everything by Jennifer Greene! I loved Matthew and Lorna or as Matthew calls her Misha. Misha's son Johnny is adorable!

Super cute romance novel, I loved the characters, and it was a unique idea/concept.
Extremely predictable, but a decent fluffy story.
