So my grandmother got this for me for Christmas last year. It's kind of a cool premise: quadruplets separated at birth and reconnecting when their gramma "dies." And then each story was written by a different author. I wasn't thrilled, though, because each novella was so short that I found the relationships that developed hard to believe. They were all "love at first sight;" they all got engaged within months of meeting (except for the pair that pretty much skipped engage More...

I had a wonderful time spending a few hours with the Christmas Belles of Georgia.

A four-in-one collection, this Christmas anthology is the story of four sisters—identical quadruplets—who were separated and put up for adoption as infants. When they're notified shortly before their twenty-fifth birthdays that they've inherited property in Georgia that includes a large, old antebellum mansion, not all of the girls are even aware that they were adopted. The will stipulates that all four of More...

I read this book on a loooooooonnnnnnggggg flight across the country, and enjoyed it a lot! Each of the 4 stories about these quadruplets separated as infants was appealing in its own way. I felt for Holly when she discovered she was adopted. Carol's sad home situation made me sad, and the resolution brought tears to my eyes. Starr is skeptical, and I enjoyed watching her relationship with Camden develop. And Noel is the perfect Texan rancher's daughter. What fun seeing her rope and saddle her f More...

Christmas Belles of Georgia is such a wonderful collection of stories by four amazing authors, Jeanie Smith Cash, Rose Allen McCauley, Jeri Odell, and Debra Ullrick.
Could you imagine receiving a letter one day out of the blue from an attorenys office, not only informing you that you were adopted, but you were one of four identical quadruplets? Well, that's exactly what happened to Holly, Carol, Starr, and Noel.
If you love christmas stories as much as I do, you'll love these four n More...

This Christmas anthology held special interest for me, since I live just an hour or so away from the setting, which by the way, is nicely woven in. It's a sweet, holiday spirit filled book that will make you smile and laugh. Since I read it the day after Thanksgiving, it was the perfect avenue to launch me into the holidays. My favorite was Nick's Christmas Carol because of the unique gift-giving idea it inspired me to consider.

I won't go into a lot of detail about each story because others have done that. But four writers have taken a story each in telling the stories of four sisters separated at birth. Each author has their style of writing, but it fits together nicely. Debut author Rose McCauley's story was my favorite. If you love romance and you love Christmas then this combination will please you.

Christmas Belles of Georgia is a fun, very sweet read. The story visits four different ways adoptive families handle the concept of adoption. Quads adopted into very different families learn to cope with their new family experience when each of them find out they have three other sisters. It's fun to read short novellas where each of the sisters find love and an acceptance of who they are even though they're adopted. Satisfying ending. I'd been wondering how they'd split the inheritance successf More...
