It's annoying when the uke is so dumb you wonder how he remembers to tie his shoes, and acts like a naive 12 yr old- when supposedly he's smart enough to get into college. (Which is not easy in Japan.) There IS a difference between innocence and idiocy - and the author doesn't seem to grasp that.
The art is good, but the story is long, and a bit much to stomach. If you like the 'romance' angle, great, it takes a while to build. I don't care for that, personally, but I can't fault the book for tha...more
