Temperament of project manager not bad to be slightly extroverted
Be willing to be interrupted
Nice if you can be a subject matter expert in what project you manage
Able to delegate
Includes responsibility (for the project), processes (of organizing and your goals), leadership (via trust), solid relationships, having people care about the project
PRINCE is an acronym for Projects IN Controlled Environments
Waterfall (medium to large) and cyclic (small) life cycles
Escalating problems quickly on short projects
Have heavier process familiarity earlier rather than later
Know the benefits of delivering and the consequences if you don't
Aggressive plans must always be tracked with high discipline

One could use this as a reference in different situations, just to be sure there isn't something missing. Worth to take a look.
