The HMS Hood is a truly spectacular addition to the Anatomy of the Ship series. The technical drawings are some of the best I have seen. What was interesting was how Roberts theorized how the Hood was sunk which is very plausible. Roberts’s book does bring the majesty of the Hood out through his words, the pictures he chose and the technical drawings of the Hood make this book worth the read and study.

A good book. excellent Diagrams and a good selection of photos.
Text gives a brief history and a good account of alterations.
An excellent reference book, if you are building a model of the Hood or struggling with the technical terms in other books. This publication has helped me make sense of some of the more technical detail in some of my other 'tomes'.

Delivers exactly as advertised. A must have for any HMS Hood fanatic
