Read in July, 2008
If you can get your hands on these books written by the staff of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, you are in for a treat. Granted, they took me an hour or so to read, but I was amazed how much I learned about Raphael, Monet, Leonardo da Vinci, etc. Each book gives you the essence of the artist's individuality. What I love about the series is that days later, I can still recall the main points and retained what I learned about each artist.
