Edgar & Ellen are at it again. When they find out that the junk yard is going to be dismantled to make way for a new fancy hotel, the twins realize that they have to stop this atrocity. After all with the removal of the junk yard, where will the twins get all of the materials to create all of their devious plots? The twisted twins create new schemes to foil the plans of the mayor and derail his festivities and keep the junk yard safe forever!

This was so much more amusing and entertaining than the first book, Rare Beasts. Their scheme was much broader and more understandable this time around and their victims were much more deserving of the twin's tormenting. If you like your stories a little bizarre, with quirky characters you'll like Edgar & Ellen. They are a couple of parentless kids who live in a creepy old house in a strange little town. In this book, they try to derail the plans of the mayor to turn their town into a premier tourist destination. This is one of a series of books, and it is being turned into a television show by Nickelodeon.

I read the Audio Version and it was really Fun! The book goes into song in several occasions. The the person reading does an amazing job with the voices. The plot itself if fun, youth appropriate and dark. It's pretty much like hanging out for a day with Wendy and Pugsly Adams.

This book was really enjoyable. I enjoyed the previous adventures in the previous book but now there was more to revealed and more mischief to be made.
The twins find themselves savenging in the graveyard and end up concocting a plan to make Nod's Limbs tourist free! What a book! :)

Charles Ogden is an amzing author. I love all of his books especially the Edgar And Ellen Collection. I have all of the Edgar and Ellen books and I am planning to read all of them.

Another book about the twins how the major invites tourist to a
luch at the musuem but thats really the twins house while their
family is on vacation but they didn't go so it's on.

I like how Edgar and Ellen make trouble. They're too witty. I like how they show their love for the things they have.

Mildly humerous. Has a slight tinge of the addams family. About two ghoulish twins, who want to keep their mansion to theirselves, and not let town tyrant, ruin the eerie atmosphere.
