I've read the Russian translation. A bit too detailed, however really interesting. True story of all Soviet and Russian planetary missions, gives you an idea what actually was inside those automatic stations (mostly fuel), how many of them were lost (something like two thirds) and what were the bloody struggles of construction units, institutes and their heads behind it.
