I was lucky enough to win a copy of 'Codex' during a giveaway last year. I wasn’t sure if this novel would be to my liking but decided to give it a go and I wasn’t disappointed. If anything, it made me wish I had read this book earlier.

I can't quite explain what drew me to this book, I was simply browsing through Amazon and decided I wanted something different - a break from my Big Read list. This was the first one that looked appealing, and I'm glad I gave it a chance.
It's a really good thriller, with a well thought through plot, and some intriguing characterisations. It was, perhaps, a little more religious than my tastes would prefer but it was never preachy about it.

I was hooked from page 1, Wow I loved reading Codex, it had so many twists & turns you never knew where it was going. Every time I thought i'd got it all sussed Adrian threw in another twist.
How on earth does a human brain come up with a storyline like that? The attention to detail & the continuous changes in direction had me on the edge of my seat.

Too much going on in such a short space of time gave up about 1/5 of the way through
This was the first book I had published...although it was the third I had written..
Thought it was OK but not brilliant. Bit slow for the first 300 pages but then picks up speed and I enjoyed the last 200 pages.
masterful and brilliant- Mr. Dawson ranks with the very top of intelligent thriller writers

A thriller based on similar myths to those in the Da Vinci code - the plot includes codes and Da Vinci references.
Found this hard going, I think mainly due to techno jargon. After about page 300 I was skim reading.
