This was a sweet, sappy read of the steamboat era. Jack and her two sisters inherited a steamboat from their dad and that was it. So they had to scramble in order to find a way to pay their way. Alex the first sister got nominated to find a ship's captain that they could trick...err...marry into coming on board. That was the first book. Lou's was the 2nd book and now we have Jack's book.
