^^WILL KEEP COMING BACK FOR MORE!^^
I really do I enjoy this series, it always like a little home coming for me. I know these characters and love them. Moreover, it’s like having vamps in my backyard, all these vampires on the streets of Toronto is never a bad thing. This book is the 2nd in the Rogue Hunter series and the 11th book in the Argeneau series, and why would I stop now.
Anything new and exciting to report not really. It’s the same whole concept, man finds life-mate she is human and onc...more

This is book number 11 in Lyndsay Sand's Argeneau Vampire series. This series does not HAVE to be read in order, however, for this book, I at least recommend reading book #10 (The Rogue Hunter) because it continues some of the plot from that previous book. As for why this book only got 3 stars when Ms. Sands usually writes 4 or 5 star quality books...? There are a few reasons why. First, the book's plot is continued YET again. Yes, there is a satisfactory conclusion with the hero (Decker) and th...more
Decker and Bricker from the previous book are sent out to find the hunter turned rogue Nicholas Argeneau who was spotted in a city nearby Deckers cabin. It turns out that the spotting was not accidental. Nicholas expected to have enforcers sent and has lead them straight to a vicious group of Rogues.
Nicholas had spotted the Rogues kidnapping two women that very night and the Enforcers join up with him to help capture the Rogues and release the girls. That is, until the battle breaks out and one...more

The Immortal Hunter was much, much better than The Rogue Hunter. I wrote this in my review of Rogue:
I expected more about the actual hunt for the rogue, and when that storyline was resolved it was sort of a let down. This book had less danger, less bite, shall we say, than some of the previous entries in the series. When I read the next book, The Immortal Hunter, my expectations will be lower and I'll keep in mind that this series is basically light, fluffy romances.

When I first began reading Lynsay Sands' Argeneau vampire series, I was a little put-off by the premise of the vampires. Seriously? Vampires as creations of science from mythical, long-lost Atlantis? C'mon...
But! I must add that once I got past the concept and into the plots themselves, I thoroughly enjoyed each book.
The author has a marvelous way of expressing the heady rush of passion and intensity of emotion that fires the onset of love, or at least lust. This book, introduces some new conce...more

This the 11th book in the Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands. The main characters of this book are Decker and Dani. They meet while Dani and her sister Stephanie are being kidnapped by a rogue immortal.
I was disappointed in this book. The story seemed confusing and somewhat difficult to follow. The author seemed to be trying too hard at making this storyline work. The plot basically was good but seemed stuttered. I usually enjoy some humor in the authors books but found literally nothing in this on...more

The three Council Enforcers - Mortimer, Justin and Decker - are still at Decker's Muskoka cottage after finding the immortal they thought was snacking on mortal's necks in the area, only to find that he isn't responsible for all the snacking. Now they learn that the rogue Nicholas was seen in the area and rush to catch him. Decker and Justin find Nicholas surprisingly quickly: indeed, he's been waiting for them to help him flush out a nest of no-fanger rogues who've captured two human women. Lac...more

Another good story in this series of the Argeneau Vampires and their collegues.
Decker (maybe Argeneau maybe Pimms - depends what name it is this century) is a colleague of Garrett Mortimer (his story was told in the last book) they both work as Enforcers for the Council of Vampires - ensuring that Vampires follow the rules set by the Council. They have just found what they thought was a rogue vampire but it turns out he wasn't but while completing that case they are called to another. This one i...more

I love that the plots are getting juicier and juicier as the series progresses. I'm not quite so thrilled with idiocy the characters showed in this one, though. I mean, the "volunteers" who were supposed to save Stephanie at the airport left her alone to be protected from an immortal by a mortal. Lucian and Decker and Nicholas all go on and on about how stupid that was, but then Decker does the same exact thing with Dani TWICE. Once at the mall and again at the hotel. Both times, what happens? L...more
Just finished reading another book in Argeneau series and this one I liked very much.
It was cute, romantic and very enjoyable read. Book has a lot of steamy sex scenes and quite a few funny moments. I have to say that Justin was funniest of all characters in this book. I just love him and I home that author writes a book about him,.
I loved the chemistry between Decker and DanI, they hit it right off and their relationship just grew from there. I loved DanI’s character she was down to earth, sh...more

I am liking this rouge hunter series trio. Decker Argeneau's character was introduced in previous stories and we get to know him much better. He and his partner are hunting an immortal rogue named Nickolas when Nick calls to ask for their help in rescuing two girls from a nest of vampires. They decide to dare to trust Nick and end up saving one girl, Decker gets shot twice, staking four vamps, losing one vamp and the other girl plus Nickolas gets away when he goes to rescue the other girl--whose...more

Decker, an enforcer on the Council, goes in search of some rogue vampires with this team. They are aided in their search by a "rogue" named Nicholas (long back story here but is setting him up for the next book) and try to rescue two kidnapped, female mortals. One of those mortals, Dani, is Decker's lifemate. Dani and Decker get it on a lot as they try and find Stephanie, Dani's kidnapped younger sister, and figure out whether Nicholas is truly a rogue. This book is much darker than many others...more
I enjoyed this book a lot more than the first Rogue Hunter novel. It definitely had a lot of action and suspense. And the story is not over yet with the nice cliffhanger at the end of this one.
Dani and Decker kinda get thrown together in an exceptional circumstance. Which makes for an interesting turn of events when Dani is discovered to be Decker's life mate. How does one tramp down a raging passion for a hot vampire when you should be looking for your missing sister? Luckily Dani gets to do bo...more

I really love this series. As usual Lynsay gives us a fantastic story with tons of humor.
Decker and Justin are hunting rogue Nicholas when he basically lets them follow him. Turns out he may be a rogue but he still is an enforcer at heart. He has tracked this group of rogues that have kidnapped two mortal females. Decker and Justin go in to save the women along with Nicholas but as they win the battle one of the rogues escapes with the teenage female. Nicholas goes after them. Decker and Justin...more

As expected this novel didn't convince me either. I'm not saying no one should read the series, but it's not my thing. Of course you could ask my why I'm reading the books, then. Well, for starters, because of a few challenges. But the real reason is: Because I can without paying for the books.
So, this book together with the 10th and 12th belongs to a little spin-off series inside of the Argeneau series, evolving around the Rogue Hunters. This time we also meet No-Fangers and their less luna...more

Having various characters do occasionally stupid things just to move the plot forward doesn't do it for me. It also has somewhat of a cliffhanger ending, no doubt to ensure that the reader will buy the next book. I will buy it because yes, I want to know how the story arc works out and because I know how great Lynsay Sands vampire books usually are, but not because of this one.

In this Argeneau novel Dr Dani McGill and her sister have been kidnapped by sadistic men. She is rescued by another group. She has questions that seem to be sidestepped by Decker, the leader of her rescuers. She wants to search for her sister, Decker says he is the only chance she has to find her sister. When she sees Decker shot, she goes into Dr mode, but Decker recovers too quickly and she has even more questions. Add to that she is more attracted to Decker than anyone she has ever met. Great book but the darkest yet. When Decker and Bricker are sent to try to locate rogue Nicholas they stumble upon a group of unrelated rogues that have kidnapped Dani and her sister. Dani is rescued but her sister is taken. What follows is Decker and Dani getting together while trying to find and rescue Dani's little sister. Dani has to decide if she is going to trust the guy she's falling for or Nicholas who keeps showing up to help even though henis being hunted. Along the way they discover t...more
After going hunting in search of a rogue vampire, who is also his cousin, Nicholas, one who has been on the run for over fifty years. Now they are following his very obvious trail, which leaves Decker worried. But then when they catch up to him, they join him in hunting down six dangerous vampires who have captured two innocent women, sisters. But after they take down five of them, one of them escapes with the youngest girl, and the one left behind with her rescuers are Decker and Justin. Nichol...more
I was waiting for this book and I loved it !!!
I just can't get enough of this series and the story between Decker and Dani was just a great read. I loved that Dani and her sister was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, I also thought it was a nice little and subtle introduction of Nicholas and the fact that Decker didn't actually know that Dani was in trouble to begin with.

Oh my goodness! I can't even begin to tell you guys how much I love the Argeneau family and Lynsay's series involving them.
The Immortal Hunter is the story of Decker Argeneau. All the man wants is a simple vacation and that is thrown out the door when he is asked to assist in catching a rogue vampire. Since that is his job as a Council Enforcer he is willing to assist. What starts off as a simple capture of a rogue turns into much more when the enforcers realize that a fa...more

OMG! What an absolutely fab book! A big improvement on the previous one! I really loved Dani and Decker, they made a lovely couple. I thought the plot and story-line were amazing, a real 'edge of your seat' tale, and I just couldn't put it down, read it in a day! It was really quite an emotional journey through this one, and I felt so sorry for Dani with what happened to her. It's so obvious she feels different from the others, and having her choices taken away was awful, you really do feel for...more
This book was a funny installment in the Argeneau series for me. I'm finding some books in this series are really good and some are really bad. This one was the first that was both.
