Many times I thought that if a book were written about my life it would be filled with so much that people couldn't follow all the loops and turning points. This book is that in itself! So full of realistic and unimaginable detail, you know this is coming from a true background. The highlights and climaxes come and go, and there's so many you're overwhelmed with feelings you feel for the characters, however it all wraps itself into one big beautiful story of what family is really about. I liked the story well enough, but it felt a bit rushed to me. It would have been nice to have seen more character development. The leaps in time were distracting.
