Memories, memories, memories. When I was a little girl, my mother (and sometimes Dad) would read the stories and poetry from this book to us. We would recite them, committed a few to memory, and read it to the next generation. To my great delight, my sister found a copy of this book and gave it to me in 1988. I was trilled. To re-read these wonderful stories that bring back so many special memories, and to read things anew have been just wonderful. To read these works with my adult eyes, and my ...more
