People used to call her Sure-Thing-Sarah, but the only thing Sarah Larson’s sure about these days is her continuing desire and love for undercover cop Luke Anderson. Only Luke comes from money, and he’s the most honorable and sexually adventurous man she knows. Four years ago, she committed the biggest mistake of her life--fearing she wasn’t good enough for Luke, she left...more

This book was a good read. I enjoyed it. I read it in 2 hrs. It was pretty good for a erotica romance though a few things bothered me about it. Spoiler Alert. If Luke loved Sarah so much, why didn't he come back to her right away and try to win her back when he heard about her divorce? Also, I understand this is a erotica romance novel and everything but if I haven't seen my old girlfriend in 4 years and I just spend one night of mind blowing sex with her, the way to win her back isn't popping a...more

Cop Appeal doesn't even have the thin veneer of respectability that Copping to It attempts to maintain. Sarah Larson has always wanted Luke (the undercover cop in the preceding book who participated in the menage with Ty and Claire. At the gangster's hideaway) but she ends up married to his co-worker, Richard. Richard turned out to be an abusive, violent husband. Sarah runs from Richard and dreams of a new life with Luke but initially has to satisfy herself with a vibrator until Luke shows up at...more

I don't know if there are words to describe what I'm thinking right now. While this book was hot and the connection between Luke and Sarah is explosive, the story-line left a bit to be desired. It was a little over the top and there were some things that had me rolling my eyes. Unlike Copping To It, Cop Appeal came across a lot more pornish. I felt like I stepped into a porno and that isn't necessarily a good thing.

Sarah and Luke used to be ho...more

I think maybe I have a new book boyfriend in Cop Luke Anderson!
Cop Appeal by author Ava Meyers pushed my buttons, in a good way!
Luke Anderson first appeared in Copping To It where he was an undercover cop in the middle of an investigation with his partner... The ruggedly handsome Luke proved to be quite a hottie in a very explicit but tasteful menage a trois scene in the first novella in the authors Red Hot Cops series Copping To It and in this second short story he once again proves to be jus...more

Review provided by Black Lagoon Reviews:

Cop Appeal, the second novel in the erotic romance series Red Hot Cops by Ava Meyers, is just as addictive and enticing as the first novella in this wonderful series. Again, Meyers demonstrates her amazing ability to transport the reader into the lives of the characters. Intense, romantic and extremely erotic this is one novella that should not be missed!

This time we follow Luke, on of the under cover police officers briefly glimpsed in Copping To It. Whil...more

I love the way this author writes. The words just flow over the pages. This was the second book I read by her, and I loved it as much if not more than the first. She slips enough thoughts and conversation in between super steamy sex to create a hot, enjoyable erotic short. I love stories where the guy is so in love with the lady, and his focus is to convince her to stay with him forever.

Sarah Larson should have married undercover cop Luke Anderson but she tied the bond with Richard, another cop. her husband, however, turned out to be dangerously possessive. after four years, they end up divorced. now Luke is back in Palm Springs to collect what Sarah has promised him in the event her marriage ends. a woman of her word, she fulfills that promise. but just as S...more

This is the second book in the The Red-Hot Cops Series and as in the first one it does not waste time in getting into the action.

Sarah loved Luke but since she didn't come from the same high society class that Luke did she felt that she wasn't good enough for him and broke things off with him and married someone else. Unfortunately that marriage didn't work and years later after her divorce Luke shows up at her door and this time he is not going to let her go.

Now Luke has a dominant kinky side...more

Imagine the woman you love and who drives you crazy is being threaten by a vindictive ex who is close to doing her physical harm. Luke loves Sarah, but Sarah feels he can do better. but Luke will not allow an angry ex or Sarah's denials keep him from claiming the woman he loves more than anything. Great read and great sex.
