As a Navy brat and Tricare employee in real life, I have the utmost respect and admiration for our military. (Yes I'm one of those - I LOVE a guy in uniform!) Only thing better than a guy in uniform is a girl in uniform...and veterans who write romance? Too cool! So I picked up this Cindy Dees book from the trade shelf at work and it sounded interesting. There was some serious holes in this book. How can they have access to the Hubble Telescope but not the President YET, they are one of those "secret spy" agencies? They can get into the Russian embassy but not the White House and why would they not be briefing the President ASAP since the US is going to get blown up??
Then of course we went from 2 weeks to 2 days... Ummmmmm.... if she knew exactly where it was to land, she knew what it was made of.

i really liked the balance of the romance and saving the world aspects of this book. it is the first I've read my Ms. Dees and i will be looking for her other titles.
