Oh dear. This book was beyond bad. I picked it up for a very quick read as my Mum had given me a stack of these quick trashy reads for the holidays. I would have given it 0 stars if that showed up as a rating.

BAD BAD BAD!

The characters were really unlikable and the male character was passive-aggressive. Abusive. He destroys her business, makes her sell her family home all because he wants her to be dependent on him and move in with him. She finds out. Is angry for all of 2 seconds. Laughs and co...more

I did like it but there was soo many flaws in this novel. The hero was an asshole and after everything the heroine just gave in. It did disappoint me a lot, hence why I gave it 2.5 stars.

so average even for a halequin. the plot was pretty good until the last 10 or so pages. the way kirstie has a complete change of heart based on one sentence that lucio says was completely ridiculous.

Fast read still I could not bring myself to like Lucio. I understood the fact that he loves Kirstie but to ruin her business just to keep her close?! This is just fucked up! And she had the nerve to forgive him? If it was me I was so gonna kill the guy, make it look like an accident and take over his business!!!
