The heroine Opal is hoping that she can convince the hero Domenic to invest in her hotel business. Although the hotels are successful she has been left with some tax debts from her father and she doesn't want to have to sell her women's shelter. Domenic is interested in Opal's business deal as well as being very intrigued by Opal herself. He has been getting pressure from his family to marry and settle down so he offers Opal the deal of him investing in her business if she marries him. After ...more

Umm, no. There was very little romance here. I did not see the connection between these two. MofC that develops into love via sex. It's hard to even buy the reason for the marriage contract anyway as it is almost as bloodless as their relationship.

And spoiler...

Another marriage of convenience story which has to be one of my favorite themes. Domenic is a hotel tycoon who wants to settle down and marry so as to please his parents. She is strong and dedicated to her work but indifferent to men and even to Domenic. But the hero won't give up. He will win her heart and ...more

I read these novels so out of order it isn't even funny but I have to say I liked and overall enjoyed the second novel better than this one. Although the dominant hero in this one is the reason that the rating is so high. *blushes*

another one for the purpoes of killing time while waiting for turns of health check at the clinic. oops... i did it again: reading something and feeling nothing about it in the end.
