I picked up this mainly because I wanted an easy read for a bus ride. But I also realized I didn't know much about Mariah, though I've followed her music all these years. So I wanted to change that.

Unfortunately, this was an extremely tedious read, overanalyzing the songs and videos she produced while not discussing much of her personal struggles - they seemed somewhat glossed over.

Still, I learned a bit about Mariah and the recording industry back then. I also hope someone writes a book about M
