Imagine a quadriplegic man walking again, experiencing sensation in his legs and running! It is the fondest wish of a man confined to a wheel chair since the age of fourteen, so his friend, Marlayne writes a story that fulfills his wish. She writes a story where he is the main character and can walk!

Another one of the stories, sees a young J.R.R. Tolkien fan become an "elf" and live amongst the fantasy characters that Tolkien created in his Lord of the Rings books. A woman, mourning the sudden

Over the past year, I've been corresponding with and talking to Author Marlayne Giron. She's a special lady to whom God gave a wonderful talent--made-up stories that heal and bless. On her website,, one section is dedicated to writing wish fulfillment stories for people who request one. I asked for her to write one--or rather she volunteered to write one when she learned about a situation within my family. The story she wrote ministered healing to the family member in need ...more

Make A Wish is a very inspiring book. This book inspires you to reach for your dreams. After reading this book it makes you appreciate everything that you have. This book really opened my eyes and made me see the world in a new light. There are people in the world who are worse off than I am and maybe I can help make their dreams come true. And by making their dreams come true I may inspire someone else to do the same. The stories in this book are sometimes sad and sometimes happy but they are a ...more

What Would Your Wish Be?

This is the first book that I have read by this author. I have never read a book quite like this one. The words, the characters, the real people, their stories all tugged at my heart. I cried while reading several of the stories. I loved them all but one of my favorites is titled, "Waterfall Blessings". The stories in this book were so vividly described that I could imagine myself right there. I could feel and see what Heaven might be like. I could feel and see what it mi

Do you ever wish your dream could come true? Or that you could have just one more moment with a deceased love one to tell them how much they meant to you? If you do, then this is an absolutely FANTABULOUS book just for you. This author is like no other author, and God truly uses her to share happiness in the lives of others. I'm still, as I sit here, sharing my thoughts on this book, in awe of how completely incredible this book is.

In this "Make a Wish" book, Marlayne Giron creates short stories

Marlayne Giron, author of "The Victor", has written a series of "wish stories" for different people and combined them into one book. If you had one wish what would it be and why? She then takes your wish or your hearts desire and spins it into a beautiful story. These stories inspire and lift you up. Just make sure you have a box of tissues when you sit to read this book.

After reading Marlayne's first book she asked me to take a look at her site, “Wish Fulfilments”. I wrote her back about a wis

I wasn't sure what I would think about this book as I don't usually read short stories. However this book turned out to be exceptional and far above my expectations. Each chapter tells you a little bit about a real life person and then has short story based on a wish they have. The real life stories are emotional but the fiction stories based upon them are real tear jerkers. Marlayne Giron's writing brings the stories to life and I actually felt like they were happening. I found myself crying se ...more
I met Marlayne Giron through a givaway she she was offering of her first book, The Victor. We first started emailing each other, then talking on the phone. She has become a very dear friend of my husband and I.

One day I was talking to Marlayne and told her that my husband Henry was in one of his very rare moods of depression. She thought about what she could do to cheer him up and that's how "Make A Wish" was born. She wrote a short story for Henry and emailed it to him. It was one of the most b

Have you ever wished for just one more day with a deceased loved one? Have you ever wished for something that was entirely impossible? If you have, you'll enjoy Make a Wish: Stories Written for Real People Where They are the Star.

Make a Wish is a compilation of short stories. Each story features one person whom Marlayne Giron , the author knows. The stories reflect the main characters' deepest desires, whether they are to see a loved one again, be free from a physical limitation, or realize a lo
Make a Wish is a fantastic book. Marlayne Giron takes the wishes of people and writes a story to make those wishes come true. I loved reading everyone's wishes and their wish fulfillments. You will smile and cry while reading this book. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend everyone to take the time to read it.
