All right, so I need to be an advocate for my own work, right?
This is an early work and I happen to know the newer stuff is better in terms of style and craft, but the characters are fun and the plot is epic. I'm a little out of my comfort zone with the romance element of fantasy romance, but Sedition is a story so skilfully told that I even enjoyed the more 'girlie' scenes.
I did find the opening pages a little slow and disjointed, but it's more than worth sticking with this story. It gets better by the page and builds to an amazing and terrifically written final showdown, with the added bonus of a wonderful twist at the end.
