Short and sweet. Author's experiences with Mother Teresa shape this guide. Using the life and deeds of Mother Teresa to outline the following:
8 principles
1. Dream it simple, say it strong.
2. TO get to the angels, deal with the devil.
3. Wait. Then pick your moment.
4. Embrace the power of doubt.
5. Discover the joy of discipline.
6. Communicate in a language people understand.
7. Pay attention to the janitor.
9. Use the power of silence.

Chapter deals with each principle in turn. Bulleted boxes at the
Being neither Catholic nor an executive of any level, this might seem an odd book for me to pick up, but I am glad that I had the simple pleasure and gentle learning experience this book afforded me.

As a young Hindi woman, during a time of aimless confusion in her life, Ruma Bose spent an extended period of time volunteering with Mother Teresa and her Sisters of Charity in India. Ruma has subsequently gone on to become a successful business woman. A dinner party conversation during which she ske

Great little book with amazing stories of an amazing human being. Definitely makes you look at Mother Teresa differently. Everyone looks a Mother Teresa as this sweet lady who helps people, but Ruma gives you the business savvy Mother Teresa. The only thing is that the author refers to the writing by Mother Teresa as if they were included in this book which are not, so set your level of expectation a little lower while reading it. Other than that great read!

This was a decent little book with 8 principles about business/leadership. It was much more about Mother Teresa as a leader of a successful non-profit than it was about her as a Saint. It was a very quick read, with some of the principles being a little more substantial than others. All in all, not bad with a few good lessons in there. Too many examples about the authors themselves though and not enough about Mother Teresa.
A completely new perspective to view Mother Teresa's work. We all know her as an epitome of love and care, but few of us would have seen the CEO in her. This book sheds light on those aspects and principles which any entrepreneur or a business man can use for growing his enterprise. Nice to read...
You can read this book in an hour . . . it's got good advice for anyone trying to be better and do better . . . at work and in life.
