The four stars I give this book should not be reflective of my opinion of Tertullian's theology. Rather, the 4 stars to to the quality of this particular collection and translation. Sider has done a wonderful job of collecting texts by Tertullian that specifically address early Christianity and it's interaction with Roman Pagan culture. I strongly disagree with Tertullian's approach and feel like he had very little room for common grace in his theology.
