My 5 year-old loved this adaptation. Its a bit violent for that age but then again this is the jungle we are talking about. I have not read Kipling's original but I imagine it reads as though it is written for a different time. Landolf does a pretty good job at re-packaging the stories. I was not overly impressed with the artwork, but it suffices.
