I read this because I wondered if my sugar levels were low from time to time and this 'diet' is all about eating foods which release sugars slowly into the system to sustain energy and avoid sudden drops in sugar levels. I only took it 'on board' as a slight modification to my ordinary diet. It did help me to appreciate others foods and thus increase the variation of my diet, but since my sugar levels turned out to be fine I couldn't say how effective it would be in stabilising them.
