Quirky, I understand there is a further book out now. On the basis of this we, having lived near Oxford for 20 years, 'discovered' the Pitt Rivers museum. Fantastic.
My only problem is that Diggerland sounds terribly appealing and I've only grown-up children and no grandchildren so I either will need to kidnap some or go with other older eccentrics, probably the latter.

A light read about humorous, yet obscure places in Britain...very funny in a British way.
