The beginning was simply idiotic. I know Ms. LaBrecque had to think of something to make the plot plausible, but sorry, the beginning was simply idiotic.

By reading the blurb I thought the hero was saving the heroine from an unwanted marriage, which could be plausible if this were a historical romance. Pretty good story with a fun plot. I particularly liked the interaction between the main characters. The circumstances were zany but they seemed to rationally deal with their feelings although he needed some prompting. Major Colton finds Andi running out on her groom.

Don't judge me! My M-I-L gave me a stack of romance novels to read so I am grudgingly working through them...

Like a cross between "Smokey and the Bandit" and "An Officer and a Gentleman". Great story.

I liked her previous trilogy. This one was "ok". Nothing different about it. Very predictable.

First, let me say this is how I show up at my desk every morning to write. Dahling, I couldn’t possibly write a word unless I was wearing 3-inch heels with a Martini at hand. NOT!!! But it’s so different, and face it, infinitely less scarey than the way I usually work, running shorts and t-shirt with a cup of tea nearby, that I had to put this picture up.

I’ve been an avid reader ever since I was g...more
