Bureau 13 is the ultra-covert branch of the FBI assigned to handle supernatural criminals. The public doesn't know they exist, the President denies any knowledge of their actions, and not every Bureau 13 operative is a human being. Ultrasilly fun

Ultrasilly fun

Reading Bureau 13 books is like reading the script to a gonzo Syfy channel movie where half of the writers are high and the other half are arguing if you could combine a Death and a Resurrection spell in D&D to create Schroedinger's conundrum with a soul. It's poolside summer reading full of silliness and crazy antics. Enjoy!

Another over-the-top silly fantasy/SF adventure as our team of crack Bureau 13 agents battle the forces of eeevilll! It's not as good as the first two, although as listed as the second volume, it's actually the third, it's funny. I miss Nick, I knew him, and he was a good guy and a hard-working pulp writer in age that wasn't kind to pulp writers.

Full Moonster is an incredibly fun and quippy book. Comedic urban fantasy about a government agency (Bureau 13) that protects America from the supernatural, this is into the series but, having not read any of the other books, I was able to follow the story and pick up relevant information with no trouble. The characters and story were so much fun that I can't wait to pick up some of the other books and the one and two liners just keep coming.

A silly fun series that I have read many times since picking them up. My copies of the Ace editions of the series are actually falling apart at this point, with pages falling out.

We see another adventure full of humor and magic. The pacing seems familiar but it is still a fun trip.
