I spotted this book in the gift shop on a recent visit to the Molly Brown house in Denver. I chose to spend my souvenir money on a replica first-class Titanic tea set, and waited a few weeks to check out this book from my local library. The Brown Palace Hotel is a well-known Colorado landmark. Taking afternoon tea at the Brown Palace is one of the items I haven't yet checked off on my bucket list. A quick, well written historical read featuring some famous and infamous ladies of the West and their association with Denver's Brown Palace. I am so happy this establishment still exists as it is a gorgeous hotel. AND there's their high tea in the lobby.
