The novelty of this is starting to ware off for me. :/ Whatever am I going to do? Maybe it's that the storyline in so drawn out by all of these hair competitions, or maybe I've just lost interest. I'll try another volume or two, but if it doesn't pick up soon, I'm putting this one to rest

I love Beauty Pop so much! It's one of those manga books that, even with a weird focus of choice, is still a really and unbelievibly great book. Deserves more than a 10 rating.
Apparantly, Naru-Naru's rivalry with Kiri is hereditary. He believes he is superior to her and works in his own self-interest, while Kiri does makeovers for people because she wants to and not for money, and she doesn't care about who's the best. And Naru-Naru always loses the haircutting contests...the same way his father always lost to Kiri's father.

I love Beauty Pop! This one has the best and most interesting plot development yet. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one! Wish Kiri could do my hair :)

Amazing love the story and the fact that there is an ending totally unexpected!

Beauty Pop from the start was a great read, i enjoyed immensely the action between Kiri and Narumi, how she doesn't care in the world and how he breaks out in hives whenever a girl touches him.
Kiri changed his life from a young age,which he finds out later on, so he sees her as a rival and eventually as a girl he loves.

Highly implausible coincidences abound. But then this is a shoujo manga and the story is fun. So it's all good.
