1) A note to all readers.

Druid's Bane has been considerably reworked and re-edited since its initial release. So Please ensure you are reading the 2nd edition (335 pages) and not the 1st edition (332 pages). All downloads are now of the 2nd edition so, hopefully, there should be no further confusion.

However, if you find an error please let me know. Readers (of which I am one) have a right to error free reading. Writers and publishers have a responsibility to see that this is so.

First, I would like to ask: WHY ARE THERE BARELY ANY REVIEWS FOR THIS BOOK?!
I'm really surprised. Does the lack of reviews mean that a lot of people haven't read it? If that is the case, then they most definately should!!

Druid's Bane is an amazing tale of the hardships that Danielle de Brie must face as a politically involved royal woman in a land of sexist lords and a bastard (pardon my french) twin brother. The two siblings are also forced by the fates to play out the roles prophesied for them...more

This is a very well written Fantasy which will draw you into the pages of the story and leave you wanting more. The main person in it is Lady (Princess) De Brie, Danielle, who is working to bring equal relations to nobility and peasantry alike. She is a very in-depth character who does seem to be quite fearless where her own skin is involved and spends the majority of the book getting into trouble, one way or another.

There is an awful lot of background information to be taken in with this book a...more

I liked this book very much in the end. I like Dee from the start. She is very vocal and stands behind what she believes even if it isnt the norm or what a woman of her status should do. Kane, well im not sure what to think of him. Hes a nasty piece of work but weather that is just who he is or who the people pulling his strings wish him to be i dont know; a part of me felt sorry for the lad at points. I very much liked the story line even though it wasnt my usual pick. I love knights and all th...more
