Another exceptional book by Wayne W. Dyer to change your perspective about our destiny and life. A bit complicated for the people who are new to this belief.

This book features a discussion of "nine spiritual principles that can be applied by anyone desiring to take charge of their life. When it was initially published in 1997 Dyer also released a CD based on the "Seventh Principle: Meditating to the Sound of Creation." In summary, Dyer proposes that sound can be used to alter our own vibrational frequency so as to consciously attract people, things, and situations into our lives.

I have studies these principles for many years...the Law of Attraction...Attitude of Gratitude...etc., so this book was a bit too basic for me. I thought it laid out the 9 spiritual principles nicely for the novice, but didn't offer many new thoughts...as always though, you can always learn something. I do enjoy Dyer straightforward way of presenting ideas and giving people the 'key' to happiness. Whether you call it Universe, God, Yahweh, etc, you can find a connection with these areas of study

I think Dyer lost me in the moment he plagiarised ideas by relating the old "it made a difference to that one" chestnut as something that happened to him. We all know this story: Two people walking on the beach, and one is tossing stranded starfish back into the sea. The other asks "Why are you doing that? Look at all the starfish here. You'll never get them all, so you can't possibly make a difference." The reply is "It made a difference to that one."

In this series, Dyer's focuses on the power of manifesting what you desire. To him, there's a lot of truth that if you ask and believe in something you shall get it. Of course, this goes against the logic of the age but some things can't be quantified, can they?
The audio series is very much about washing the garbage out of your head and moving forward with more inspiration. Real life examples are given as proof and it's up to the listener to deciee whether they believe or do not bel More...

I consider Wayne Dyer to be the West's version of a guru. He has been writing fabulous self-help books for over 30 years. As he continues to evolve his own wisdom, he expertly translates complex, universal spiritual principles into convenient, readable formats that most of us can understand right away. This is one of my favorite books written by Dr. Dyer but all of his books are a good place to start for people seeking more self-knowledge.

This is a book to read and reread as I work toward living as a being interconnected to everyone and everything. I especially loved the ninth principle of gratitude for all that comes into my life -- focusing on the positive (all that is right and good) rather than the negative (what is missing). That's a great lesson for the holidays and for the start of a new year. Easier said than done!

Well all I can say is Wow!
Ok I can say more than that. This book is amazing if you are in the right space to take it in. I have gained much from it and I know that I have a long way to go. I will be reading it again shortly. I have taken a heap of notes and I have been using them to help me on my journey.
This is my second time reading this book and I know I was not in the right space to gain from it. Oh so different now.

I had this as an audio book, and I still listen to it regularly in the car. The concepts presented have truly made me think about my thoughts and actions, and helped me to be open to "what is". I thoroughly enjoyed this read (listen!)

Working with the Law of Attraction, the author posits nine rules for getting what you want, which rely heavily on realizing that your are God, and that you can attract anything you set your mind on. You need to meditate, detactch from the outcome, and practice gratitude and generosity. That's it, really. Do it. Now.

A great starter companion to understand how one's attitude can be directly responsible for what one attracts into his or her life.

Purchased back in my new age days, but recently re-read it and found many of the techniques and the advice to be sound.

This was my first introduction to Wayne Dyer. I must say...he was inspired by God, and continues to be. Great read for anyone starting their spiritual journey, or for you who've been on the path for a long time. He was talking about manifesting before it was a buzzword.

I just couldn't get into this book. It was a little too preachy on the spiritual side for me. I don't mind some spiritual elements, but this one just seemed to ignore reality and went straight for the preachiness.

this is one i'd eventually like to own - dense subject matter that i could benefit by reading again and again. definitely not a fluffy book.

What a vast possibility the universe offers if you would only work with it not against!

I read this book over and over. It really helps to keep me focused on what is important.

A little too much about fulfillment of material needs rather than spiritual for me.
