Full disclosure: The author is my father; however, that's truly not the reason for my rating. I was present and aware of the dedication to detail as Dad pored over the first-person accounts which are the backbone of this book. He brings the past to the present based on the words and maps created by those who were there in the 1700s, matching them to the geography as it is today, and providing some insight to those people who first established this area.
