Final Round of the 2012 Goodreads Choice Awards—Last Chance to Vote!
Presenting Your Finalists! »It's time for the Final Round of the 2012 Goodreads Choice Awards! Readers cast more than 846,000 votes during the Opening and Semifinal Rounds, and now just 10 books remain in each of 20 categories. A hearty congratulations to the authors who are now Goodreads Choice Finalists!
The polls will remain open until midnight (PST) on November 27, so vote now. And these races are still tight! Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl is among the high-stakes whodunits in the finals for Best Mystery & Thriller. A biography of Queen Elizabeth faces stiff competition from profiles of Thomas Jefferson, David Foster Wallace, and others in Best History & Biography. In Best Middle Grade & Children's Books, actor-turned-debut author Chris Colfer's story of twins lost in a magic kingdom is challenging double-nominee Rick Riordan's two mythology-packed adventures. Will 2011 winner Veronica Roth defend her title in Best Young Adult Fantasy & Science Fiction? Will write-in favorite J.K. Rowling begin to dominate in Best Fiction? View all the finalists and help decide!
This is your third and final chance to vote for the best books of 2012! Remember, the polls close November 27, and winners will be announced December 4.

Scott Sigler's Nocturnal should be in the running for book of the year, not just best horror!
I'm disappointed by the books this year... Compared to the past years the only finalists I know, are ones I didn't like or found very "ordinary".
Too bad, hope it will be better next year !
Um. Posion Princess by Kresley Cole. Duh. It's only the greatest book ever written. Next to Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins & Alice in Zombie Land by Gena Showalter.
Swords and Sails: The Legacy of the Red Lion by David McAvoy IIDavid McAvoy IISwords & Sails: The Legacy of the Red Lion

It was so amazing! That ending... there are no words to even begin to describe how awesome it was.
Right??! I've gotta admit, I was a little bummed about Jack's reaction to her at the very end, boo hoo. :( I just noticed you mentioned Alice in Zombieland also, it's in my TBR pile because it looks SO good! Just wondering if it's good enough in your opinion for me to move it up & read it sooner? Thanks!
So I've got to go kick and scream, because once again, Terry Brooks is not recognized for his genius.
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra ClaireBtter Blood by Rachel Caine
Eternally Yours by Cate Tiernan
Beautiful Redemption by Margareth Stohl and Kami Garcia
Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick

I think Jack's reaction is important. I want her to end up with him, but there needs to be room for HerXDeath! There's more going on with those two and I wanna know what it is! :-P
Oh and Alice in Zombie is AMAZING. Yes, Alice in Zombie = Alice in Wonderland. HOWEVER, this is %100 orginal. There are some things that loosely carry over, but while you're reading it... I'm not even sure how to describe it. I can't even begin to count how many times I've cried in this book. From the first Chapter to the end of the book it tugs at your heart. And Alice is very like-a-ble. She's kicking Zombie ass, so how could anyone NOT love her? Plus it's funny. There's like a million and one L-O-L moments.

Ooooh, I like your thinking on Jack & Evie. :) And thanks SO much for the info on Alice in Z-land. I'm moving this one up in the pile!

Yes! I love Tris an Tobias's relationship and how she can stick up for herself. I also love how she is the heroine instead of the boy. I mean I love Tobias but I'm glad Tris was the brave and cunning one. I cried over Will!! and everyone else who died!! Sorry Spoiler... Okay I might be taking this the wrong way and people might think I'm so werid but.... Was Lynn lesbo? Just curious cause in the end when you know who died she was like I love her more or something like that and I was like What?

Honestly, I'm Very Disappointed With The Books Chosen For Some Catergories Like Fiction And Book Of The Year. I Think That Choices Should Be More Wide, Like In The Fiction Catergorie, It Felt Like The Books Were All Similar In A Way And It Should Have Ben Different Like Having A More Wide Variety. Personally, I Like M.R. Mathias And Some Other Authors, But Other Than The Two Sections I Commented On, Everything Else Was Fine... I Guess. I Would Love To Hear Everyone Elses Opinions. Please Message Me Via My GOODREADS Account. Thanks. Tell Me If You Agree With What I Said And Tell Me If You Don't And Also What Your Favourite Book Is. Or Books.
