I finished writing my script for Gumby Comics/Wild Card Ink's GUMBY: GUMBASTICK and the first the story has a thumbs up and the first five pages are edited.
The artist on the book is my old friend and Punch and Judy: A Grand Guignol collaborator Jorge Santillan http://jhsillustration.com/
His initial character sketches of the Gumby gang are amazing.
Prior to this book I was about to throw in the towel, feeling as though as my guilt, fear and sorrow had tossed a blanket over my joy and beat it with a pillowcase of frozen hate balls. Working on this book has completely recharged my batteries and chased all the gremlins out of the garage.
I think folks will like this book a lot as it features many old characters, several new and really plays well with 55 years of Gumby mythology.
