Well, this was sobering! I always, in my vague way suspected pyrotechnics while beautiful, were toxic-plus every year I'd read about people losing digits, unsupervised children's burns, etc. One year, I was returning to Miami after clubing in Ft. Lauderdale Fla, and the fume-cloud cover in some areas made highway driving a little hairy.Anyways, I got up twice last night, thinking our picture window had been broken(again)from the loud crashing noises I'd heard. My roomie's two kitties were terrified from the all the noise.
Me, I'd rather see the Aurora Borealis. I live in Minnesota now, so let's see what fall brings...
