The Dark Lake by Anthea Carson

Anthea Carson grew up in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and her car really did go through the ice in Lake Winnebago. She has a degree in philosophy from the university of Colorado, with an emphasis in literature. Anthea has several other books out including two chess books, one called Tactics Time is the number one bestseller on Amazon Chess. She has worked as a chess coach and professional chess player and has been listed in the top 100 US chess women, and the Game 60 female chess champion of 2002. She lives currently in Colorado with her husband and two children.
