Today I finished the first draft of my work-in-progress, and the reason I mention it is because I'm thankful for it. This draft took me 2.5 weeks to complete though it's a shorter novel, somewhere around 200 pages. For me, Thanksgiving over the past few years has been a time to feel grateful for the opportunity to write my novels. It's also been a time to grow as a novelist, something I never thought of when I began publishing books, my first appearing as an ebook in 2004. Next year should see the release of more titles than came out this year. So, onward we go.

Happy safe and fun Thanksgiving Day to the U.S. readers from the Cracked Rearview Mirror Weblog.
