Have you ever met a literary genius whose life shifts so incessantly that what she/he endures becomes either hilarious or tragic?

Some of us barely meet individuals whose lives move us to explore ourselves and others. These brilliant, fleeting folks rarely stay around long, but if they choose you as a friend, your life will change for the worse... or better.

I wasn't prepared to be involved in the rich, interior life of two unique people whose compelling lives are polar opposites. They revealed themselves to me in my newest “literary” novel.

After writing a stylistic http://www.jjuriaan.com/Stylistic_Wri... YA novel (Down to the Bone is written in authentic, working-class, Cuban-American dialect/lingo), I was inspired to put forth something more “literary.” http://www.literature-study-online.co... (I’m tweaking my novel before re-submitting to my agent and it’s nothing like anything I’ve ever written.)

I'd like for the novel after this one, to be lyrical. Exploring and delving into different writing styles for each novel is exciting.

My characters are making their way through territories most have never set foot in.

Must get back to wandering the streets of my imagination.… for your pleasure...
