Missed me?! I'm sorry I haven't been around...
I've had one of the most exciting summers of my life! I wish I could tell you all about it... and I will. But not quite yet.
Let's just say ~ I'm a very happy author!
How's Out of Breath coming along, you ask? It's at a very critical point. I'm excited by this story and how it challenges me emotionally during the creative process. I believe this is the most powerful in the series, and I want nothing more than for you to experience the conclusion of Emma's story at your most vulnerable. You'll earn this ending. More importantly I hope you love it as much I do.
I am still writing. I'll be disappearing for a while to really immerse myself into the complexity of Emma's life. And I'll be doing this with the aid of my favorite creative elixir!
Upon the advice of one of my closest friends, now is not the time to kick the Dew habit. It works for me in my writing process, so bring it on! I'm not giving it up!! But I've also discovered that walking five miles a day helps clear my head and focuses my scattered thoughts ~ so that's my compromise - I get to drink the Dew but I have to walk to earn it!
I WILL ANNOUNCE THE OUT OF BREATH RELEASE DATE IN OCTOBER!!!
Yes, I do know when I'm planning to release it. No, I can't tell you yet. Why? I'm not the only one with a say in this decision and I have to wait for everyone to nod their heads "yes" in acceptance. Providing a release date also means I'll have a deadline. As I said, I work well under pressure, but I can still feel my stomach twist with nerves just thinking about what still needs to be done!

For those of you who have emailed me, I will respond... I've worked out an "answering emails" time as part of my day - in the morning, because I can't start writing before 1pm. It takes my brain that long to wake up. I'm not a morning person...

It sounds like Emma's story has done something wonderful for your life as it has for those of us who have read it. That is amazing! I'm so excited about the final installment! I am looking forward to Chicago. I'm so grateful that my hubby purchased my Kindle and that I was able to rekindle my love of reading!!

I am so excited for OOB... Haha OOB is what we call Old Orchard Beach in Maine!!! I'm so going to buy a signed copy of OOB when it's released since ill have your other two from the photo contest :) your a very generous person and as excited as I am for the release I'm just as excited about you taking the time making it what it needs to be so its what you want it to be for your readers! This is one of the most compelling and emotionally gripping trilogy I have read to date! I am so excited to read the final installment and I feel fortunate that I found out about the author and the books via Goodreads. :)
I just finished Barely Breathing last night.....I'm barely breathing now....I cannot wait for Out Of Breath!!!!
The series to date has been amazing, emotional and heart wrenching, I may need oxygen to get through OOB.But so looking forward to see where life will take Emma!

I can't wait for Out of Breath. This series was painful to read, but so amazing! I've told my students that these were 2 of the best books I read this summer & they are dying to read them. I sure hope Emma ends up with Evan in the end.

I don't think I should read any more books that are in a Series. Or, there should be a WARNING: SERIES AND THEY'RE NOT ALL OUT YET label before you buy a book that is in a Series. Because the waiting is awful. That's a compliment and a complaint at the same time. I really enjoyed the first two books. Truly. They tore me up, made me feel and really think about life about how people react to situations Life throws at you.
I've also been really excited about the third book in this series and the possibilities of how it all ends. But, I feel like your last few posts have just been tease after tease and it's getting old.
I'm happy you're living a real life and going on adventures. I feel like those adventures and experiences are important and will help you as a person, as a writer. But, at this point, after waiting and waiting and reading your posts that just tease......I don't know if I'll still have this excitement and interest in the conclusion. Which is terrible to say but, it's the truth. And I feel that you should know.....even if it isn't very fair of me to say. I'm sorry about that. Truly. It's not my intention to be hurtful but, to let you know that I'm getting close to my limit with the teasing. I hope to still be interested in your series by the time your last book comes out. I truly do. I also look forward to reading more books by you in the future. But, I sure hope they aren't another Series......or that I wait until they're all written before I begin.
I never realized I was a horribly impatient person. Until I started this Series. And started reading your Blog, looking to see when the next book came out.
All good things to those who wait. I believe that saying. I have faith that this last book is going to be amazing and completely worth it. The last two sure were. I'm waiting, like so many others, with baited breath..........
