summertime is fun

to other people it is

to me it is not

She’s my daughter. I’ve gotta reblog her, but come to think of it I would anyway. This is a cool poem.

Willow I agree, Bronte. :)

Richard Obviously Janis Joplin was wrong: the living isn't easy. At least not for everyone.

Brad It's not, Richard. Not for everyone.

And Bronte thanks you Willowfaerie.

Miriam I would have agreed at her age, because I went to a year-round school and was jealous of my friends' vacations.

Brad She sort of does too. But I don't think that was the reason. She's more of a fall and winter girl, I think.

Miriam Likes cold? San Francisco doesn't really have seasons, but in the Midwest I guess I liked spring and fall best. Winter was too snowy for me. But I can see it would be more appealing for kids, who don't have to drive in it or pay heating bills.
