Lots of leftovers make it to our fridge, as probably they do to yours. I believe my favorite leftover, though, has to be pizza, whether heated or just served cold straight from the fridge. Maybe it's a holdover from my student or my early working days. Pizza the next day just seems to taste good. I don't eat pizza with pepperoni on it anymore, but that definitely added to the good taste. Veggie pizzas are also delicious with peppers, tomatoes, onions, and other goodies on them. Or perhaps the congealed cheese is what makes the old pizza so enjoyable. We just ate some this weekend, a large pizza we ordered at Z Pizza, a franchise that seems to be popping up around the neighborhoods. Anyways, that's my story on the leftover foods, and I'm sticking with it.

I didn't even think of chicken but it works for me, too.

Marietta Chili. There is something about chili after it's been reheated. I don't care how long it simmers the day I make it, the next day it's always better. Pizza Hut pizza is the other staple. Has to be cold. It just loses something warmed up.

Angela Gramacy All three ya'll mentioned are good, but a cold pork chop, a slice of white bread,(Wonder) preferably ... yummmy good. Could be my southern upbringing.

I remember Wonder bread from when I was a kid growing up in rural Virginia. Thanks for sharing.
