Writing, writing, editing, editing so it's all good on His Goodbye Girl, the last in my SAS series. Then I have to come up with an IDEA for something new. If there's a book you think I should be writing, let me know :) Do you want lighter (What the Librarian Did; Stand In Wife) or angsty (Bring Him Home, Second Chance Family) or a bit of both (my other books)?
One thing I do know is that I have a preference for series based around heros. (Seven of eleven of my books are part of a series).
I always write series books that can be read as a standalone...in fact it's one of my pet bugbears as a reader, not being able to follow the story because I haven't read previous books in a series. Writers who are really good at keeping faith with new readers include Robyn Carr (Virgin River series); Nalini Singh (love the Psy but if I had to choose at the point of a gun, I'd go for her angels); J. R. Ward; Jill Shalvis and JD Robb. Who have I missed?
In other news Bring Him Home is getting great feedback here on Goodreads. Here's the link: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...
Some of you are responsible for those good grades, so thanks!
And seriously, tell me what you want, what you really want in new Karina Bliss books.
