Anna's father, Joseph of Arimathea, was the Virgin Mary's twin brother. He was a wealthy tin merchant who spent most of his adult life living in Glastonbury, England. After the death of his nephew, Jesus of Nazareth, he brought the Holy Grail there. He remained in Glastonbury for the rest of his life as the first Keeper of the Holy Grail.

The union of the House of David and the House of Awen through the marriage of Anna of Arimathea and Beli Mawr's descendant, Bran "The Blessed" (see http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/465887...), created the Tudor lineage of British royalty. Beli Mawr's wife, Don verch Mathonwy, was the daughter of Mathonwy, the king and arch druid of the Tuatha Dé Danann, the biblical disporsa tribe of Dan that conquered Ireland over 4,000 years ago. The tribe was in turn conquered by the Milesians (see http://www.goodreads.com/author_blog_...) several hundred years later.

Earl Edward "Shake-speare" de Vere (see http://www.goodreads.com/author_blog_...) was a direct descendant of the couple. Four of his plays, MacBeth, Cymbeline, All the Henrys and King Lear, featured his ancestors as main characters.

History knows Cymbeline as Cunobeline (see http://www.goodreads.com/author_blog_...) or Cynfelyn (Welsh). There would have been only a handful of well-educated historians who knew anything whatsoever about him during the Elizabethan Era in England. William Shakespeare certainly would not have been one of them.
