Joseph of Arimathea, Anna's father, was Virgin Mary's twin brother. A wealthy tin merchant, he served as a Roman provincial governor southwestern England. He spent most of his adult life living in present-day Glastonbury, England. After the death of his nephew, Jesus of Nazareth, he brought the Holy Grail there. He remained in Glastonbury for the rest of his life as the first Keeper of the Holy Grail.

The union of the House of David and the House of Awen through the marriage of Anna of Arimathea and Beli Mawr's descendant, Bran "The Blessed", created the Tudor lineage of British royalty. Beli Mawr's mother, Don verch Mathonwy, was the daughter of Mathonwy, the king and arch druid of the Tuatha Dé Danann, the biblical disporsa tribe of Dan that conquered Ireland over 4,000 years ago. The tribe was in turn conquered by the Milesians several hundred years later.

Lludd Llaw Eraint, Beli's son and successor as king of Britons, built a fortress around most of the present-day City of London. The grateful citizenry nicknamed him "the silver-handed", out of respect for his generosity and called their city "Ludd dain". He's thus the eponyn of London. Both Ludgate and Ludgate Circus are also named after their beloved king.

Earl Edward "Shake-speare" de Vere was a direct descendant of the couple. The "Histories" he penned (including MacBeth , Cymbeline , all the Plantagenet/Lancaster plays (including Edward III, Julius Caesar ) and King Lear ) featured his ancestors as main characters. Coincidence? I think not.

There would have been only a handful of well-educated historians who knew anything whatsoever about Cymbeline during the Elizabethan Era in England. William Shakespeare certainly would not have been one of them.
